Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager for a contract position focused on leading large-scale SAP transformation projects. The role involves collaboration across various SAP workstreams while liaising with senior stakeholders and managing project governance, risks, and budgets. The successful candidate will facilitate effective communication among both business and technical teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP projects and workstreams from planning through to delivery.
- Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate functional, technical, integration, and third-party teams.
- Facilitate regular governance and project status meetings.
- Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Track project budgets, resources, and delivery progress.
- Identify potential delays and implement recovery or mitigation plans.
- Manage external SAP partners and suppliers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Project Management experience.
- Strong experience with SAP transformation or implementation projects.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience in stakeholder and vendor management.
- Proficiency in managing risks, budgets, resources, and complex project dependencies.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or SAP Activate methodology is highly advantageous.
