Overview
As a Product Owner in a Commodities trading firm, you will manage a set of digital products utilized by internal traders and clients, ensuring their alignment with business needs. Collaborating closely with traders and external providers, your role focuses on shaping requirements, maintaining delivery roadmaps, and facilitating effective product management within the trading environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day product management for digital products related to commodities trading.
- Collaborate with internal traders to gather and define product requirements.
- Shape and prioritize the delivery roadmap while managing refinement stages with the engineering team.
- Monitor product performance through metrics tracking and reviews.
- Serve as the main point of contact for traders and handle external client requests for customization.
- Engage in prioritization discussions to facilitate continuous product development.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the commodities trading sector.
- Strong understanding of Physical Trading, Freight, LNG, and Logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage product delivery roadmaps and requirements effectively.
- Experience with metrics analysis to track product performance.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies for product management.
