Overview
We are seeking a Programme Delivery Manager to lead a complex multi-team programme focused on launching a healthcare software platform used by clinicians. This contract position requires a dynamic leader to unify the delivery efforts of internal teams and third-party suppliers, ensuring the project stays on track amid dependencies and potential risks. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record in delivering at-risk programmes successfully.
Responsibilities
- Develop the integrated delivery plan and manage the critical path to launch.
- Facilitate daily cross-team stand-ups among client, engineering, QA, and third-party supplier teams.
- Identify and drive resolution of blockers and dependencies.
- Maintain a RAID log, ensuring every risk, action, and issue has an owner and deadline.
- Ensure backlog readiness and define acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
- Provide concise stakeholder updates on project progress and key decisions.
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing at-risk software delivery programmes.
- Experience as a Senior Delivery Manager or Programme Delivery Manager with a focus on digital delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and suppliers effectively.
- Strong skills in dependency management, RAID processes, and critical-path analysis.
- Expertise in senior stakeholder management and the ability to challenge and inspire teams.
- Technical literacy to engage effectively with engineering teams without making technical decisions.
- Experience in SaaS or platform delivery, particularly in integration-heavy settings is a plus.
