Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager for a contract role to oversee a client-facing project within the fintech sector. The successful candidate will manage the delivery plan and collaborate closely with clients to fulfill project goals. This role involves leading a team of engineers, ensuring effective communication, and maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery plan for a client-facing project and ensure execution aligns with goals.
- Collaborate with clients to define, document, and agree on project scope.
- Maintain an up-to-date delivery plan and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
- Actively manage and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Tailor processes according to team structure and client requirements.
- Manage client expectations and document important decisions for project transparency.
- Liaise with the Engagement Manager to implement an effective communication plan.
- Provide weekly project status reports and escalate issues promptly as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing agile delivery projects, preferably within investment banking or front office trading platforms.
- Proficiency in Jira as a project management tool.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
