Overview
The RPA Business Analyst will join a significant Automation Programme focused on enhancing business efficiencies within a complex organization. The role entails collaborating with operational stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, document business processes, and support the testing and implementation of automation solutions. This position is ideal for an experienced Technical Business Analyst who is passionate about transforming traditional processes through RPA, Power Platform, and emerging AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation discovery workshops with business stakeholders.
- Identify manual and repetitive processes suitable for automation.
- Produce AS-IS and TO-BE process maps.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Develop Process Definition Documents for automation developers.
- Support prioritization of automation opportunities.
- Assist with UAT planning, testing, and benefits tracking.
- Work closely with technical delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements
- Strong Technical Business Analysis experience.
- Previous Automation or RPA project experience.
- Excellent process mapping skills (BPMN or similar).
- Workshop facilitation and stakeholder management expertise.
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and drive workstreams independently.
- Highly desirable: experience with Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform, and Agentic AI.
- Public Sector or Policing experience and knowledge of governance and compliance.
