Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer for a remote contract opportunity in the UK. The successful contractor will focus on the development and enhancement of the client’s Salesforce platform, primarily using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows. This role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions that support key business processes in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, as well as managing integrations with external systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
- Configure and customize the platform to support business processes across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Contribute to automation that improves consistency and efficiency for users.
- Build, maintain, or support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST or SOAP APIs.
- Review requirements and propose appropriate technical approaches to meet business needs.
- Test changes, investigate issues, and deliver dependable platform updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and share project progress.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, particularly with Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Practical understanding of building, configuring, and maintaining Salesforce solutions.
- Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Proficiency in developing Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Ability to assess technical requirements and produce reliable, maintainable solutions.
- Balanced understanding of declarative configuration and custom code.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with project colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience with additional Salesforce products or clouds is an advantage.
