Overview
The Salesforce Developer will join a Housing Association's Salesforce team on a hybrid contract basis, focusing on continuous improvement and support for Salesforce operations. This hands-on role requires engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that enhance the customer experience, while guiding the BAU development pipeline and ensuring best practices are upheld. The developer will also maintain code quality, support releases, and stay current with Salesforce innovations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions based on user stories and service design.
- Lead the Salesforce BAU development pipeline, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert change requests into effective solutions.
- Document Salesforce builds and facilitate smooth transitions to BAU support.
- Support release management, automated deployments, and version control.
- Communicate progress and solutions to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Engage with suppliers and third parties as necessary.
- Stay updated on Salesforce functionality and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Salesforce development role.
- Advanced knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, Developer I & II.
- Experience with Visual Studio, Lightning Design System, and Salesforce lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in large-scale Salesforce transformation projects.
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
