Overview
The Senior Allegro ETRM Developer will play a pivotal role in a leading energy trading organization, focusing on the design, development, and support of solutions within the Allegro ETRM platform. This long-term contract position requires collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders to address complex energy trading needs, leveraging expertise in software development and engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver solutions across the Allegro ETRM platform.
- Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop and support enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Adhere to software engineering best practices for testing, version control, and security.
- Contribute to cloud and DevOps initiatives, including Azure and CI/CD automation.
- Work collaboratively within technical and business teams to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Allegro ETRM.
- Proficient in C# and .NET development.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to Azure, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in energy trading or commodities environments is preferred.
