Overview
This contract role seeks a Senior .NET Engineer with a focus on AI to contribute to a leading fintech's AI Acceleration squad. The successful contractor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-enabled tools and automation, initially focusing on building agents and integrations, before potentially transitioning into product squads for ongoing .NET development tasks.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, and support AI-enabled tools, services, automations, and agents.
- Build integrations between AI platforms, internal systems, and enterprise tools.
- Take AI pilots and proofs of concept through to production-ready solutions.
- Create reusable patterns, components, and foundations for future AI work.
- Help engineers adopt approved AI tools through enablement, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Design, build, test, and support features across product and platform domains.
- Build and maintain APIs, integrations, data services, and cloud-native applications.
- Contribute to architecture, technical design, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience building and shipping production systems.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET development.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and relational database design.
- Proficient in modern CI/CD, GitHub workflows, pull requests, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
- Agile delivery experience in cross-functional teams.
