Overview
We are seeking a .NET Developer for a 3-6 month contract position in a hybrid working environment. The contractor will collaborate with the operations and analytics team to create new applications and enhance existing systems that support production processes. This role emphasizes the use of AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Build applications that support the production process from raw materials to finished products.
- Develop systems for stock management and quality sampling.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications while addressing technical debt.
- Utilize AI coding tools like Claude to accelerate development.
- Work closely with operations and analytics colleagues to gather and understand their requirements.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a .NET Developer.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
- Hands-on experience with deployment on Azure.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot, or a keen interest in utilizing them.
- Comfortable working on both new builds and existing codebases.
- Experience in building operational or manufacturing systems is a plus.
