Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will engage with French-speaking business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to facilitate process improvement and requirements analysis. This contract role focuses on a change portfolio for an international transport operator, requiring a fluent communicator in both French and English. The Analyst will be responsible for end-to-end analysis, ensuring that requirements are defined, tested, and successfully handed over to operations.
Responsibilities
- Review and challenge existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Secure stakeholder commitment to target processes and establish a RACI matrix.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, including user stories and use cases, in Confluence.
- Translate validated requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to validate functional designs against requirements.
- Define and run testing strategies, write test cases, and support defect analysis during testing and post-implementation.
- Model processes in Bizzdesign and contribute to the enterprise process repository.
- Coordinate across business units, IT, and external vendors, reporting on requirements status and risks.
Requirements
- Fluent in both French and English, with strong communication skills.
- Over 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in business and functional requirements engineering.
- Experience with process modeling and improvement techniques.
- Proficiency in test planning, case writing, and validation processes.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project lifecycles.
- Ability to work effectively with solution architects, development teams, and third-party vendors.
- Strong confidence in challenging business needs and processes with senior stakeholders.
