Overview
We are looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst with over a decade of experience in e-commerce and retail transformation to join our dynamic team. This contract position focuses on a significant digital commerce platform transformation, with an emphasis on Shopify Plus backend integration. The successful candidate will collaborate with both business and technology teams to define core requirements, integration workflows, and operational processes to ensure effective delivery throughout the transformation program.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements-gathering workshops with stakeholders.
- Analyse and document current-state and future-state business processes.
- Develop business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
- Define integration requirements and validation logic for Shopify Plus and related systems.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through all project phases.
- Support redesign of business processes to align with objectives.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and formal sign-offs on requirements.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Analysis within e-commerce and retail sectors.
- Proven expertise in Shopify Plus backend integrations.
- Experience with integration of Shopify Plus with various retail system tools.
- Strong knowledge of business process change management in retail environments.
- Ability to document integration requirements and data mappings clearly.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in dynamic transformation programs.
