Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cost Controller to oversee cost management for the KJO DeSalter project. The successful contractor will operate independently, utilizing their expertise to provide financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting that supports project leadership. Responsibilities
- Provide independent cost oversight, reporting, and governance for the KJO DeSalter project.
- Develop and deliver monthly Cost Performance Reports including CPI, SPI, and variance analysis.
- Create and maintain an updated cost forecasting model with risk-adjusted projections.
- Design and implement budget tracking dashboards and expenditure summaries.
- Contribute financial input into project status reports and analyses.
- Identify cost efficiencies and opportunities for improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain and update the cost risk register, providing mitigation recommendations.
- Coordinate the preparation and management of cost reports and staffing plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cost control and financial management within large-scale projects.
- Advanced knowledge of cost performance indices (CPI, SPI) and variance analysis.
- Strong ability to develop and implement financial forecasting models.
- Experience with budget tracking and reporting tools.
- Excellent data analysis and project management skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and deliver on deadlines.
- Proficiency in cost engineering and risk management practices.
- Strong background in preparing and reviewing financial reports.
