Overview
In this role, the Senior Data Architect/Consultant will spearhead a greenfield Power BI implementation, establishing a comprehensive reporting and analytics environment to facilitate a significant transformation within a rapidly growing organization. The contractor will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to assess existing data infrastructures and develop a robust BI architecture that addresses operational challenges and sets the groundwork for future BI advancements, including AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a new Power BI environment.
- Assess and integrate fragmented data sources for consolidation.
- Define and establish data models and governance standards.
- Translate operational pain points into a scalable architectural solution.
- Set foundations for future AI-enabled reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align architecture with business goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering greenfield Power BI implementations.
- Background in NHS, Government, MedDev, Medical, or Pharma/healthcare sectors.
- Experience consolidating fragmented data sources.
- Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices.
- Proven ability to work independently with senior stakeholders.
- Experience with manual reporting modernization processes.
