Overview
We are looking for experienced Data Architects to join a major transformation programme aimed at modernising data capabilities through cloud-first architecture. In this hybrid role, you will work collaboratively with enterprise organisations to design scalable data platforms and influence data strategies across complex environments. You will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading the architectural direction of significant data transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale data architecture solutions.
- Define target-state data platforms, roadmaps, and architectural standards.
- Develop cloud-first data strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Establish and promote data governance, quality, and best-practice frameworks.
- Support the modernization and migration of legacy data environments.
- Collaborate closely with business, technology, and leadership stakeholders.
- Drive architectural decision-making across complex transformation programmes.
- Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Architect within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, frameworks, and governance.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Experience designing modern data platforms using Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Track record of delivering complex data transformation initiatives.
- Experience operating within programme and enterprise architecture environments.
- Desirable experience working within consultancy-led delivery environments, with knowledge of data operating models and organizational change programmes.
