Overview
We are seeking a Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to provide technical leadership in Flow Assurance activities throughout various project phases, including feasibility studies, FEED, and execution. The role is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to oil & gas or CCS projects. This position offers the opportunity to impact multiple projects, ensuring the delivery of effective engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical documentation related to Flow Assurance activities across project phases.
- Follow up on supplier calls for tender and selection for the Flow Assurance discipline.
- Review and approve FEED, tender, and detailed engineering executed by contractors.
- Provide technical support to interface disciplines such as pipelines and subsea.
- Support operations and troubleshooting during start-up and commissioning.
- Manage interfaces with reservoir and laboratories.
- Proactively communicate variations in manhours and schedules to project leads.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Flow Assurance across all project phases.
- Graduate-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Proficient in software such as OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, and Hysys.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Matlab, C++, and Python is beneficial.
- Experience with technical audits, HAZOP, HAZID’s, and risk assessments.
- Strong understanding of integrating HSE and technical risk processes into engineering solutions.
- Ability to manage complex projects with independent judgment.
- MS or BS Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering or equivalent.
