Overview
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role within the Enterprise Engineering team, providing third-line infrastructure support while also contributing to infrastructure projects, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives. This hybrid position allows for a blend of on-site collaboration and remote working, making it ideal for a versatile engineer who thrives in a broad technical landscape, including networking, servers, and identity management.
Responsibilities
- Provide third-line infrastructure and technical support across the organization.
- Support infrastructure projects, migrations, and technical improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and support Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 / Office 365 and Microsoft Intune.
- Support virtualisation environments including Hyper-V and VMware.
- Manage and support identity platforms such as Okta and Entra ID.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues in collaboration with technology teams.
- Contribute to infrastructure security, patching, backup, and disaster recovery efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hands-on 3rd Line Infrastructure or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration experience.
- Experience with Hyper-V and VMware environments.
- Expertise with networking technologies, particularly Fortinet / FortiGate.
- Strong administration experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
- Familiarity with Okta and/or Entra ID identity management solutions.
- Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management and authentication technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
