Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading brand in the Defence industry on a contract basis, focusing on enhancing their IT capabilities. This role will involve working closely with the IT team to implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions, particularly in Nutanix, Microsoft 365, and Azure. The contractor will be expected to contribute significantly from the outset, demonstrating technical expertise while collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage Nutanix cluster administration and troubleshooting.
- Configure and deploy Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune solutions.
- Migrate infrastructure from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Provide systems administration and infrastructure troubleshooting support.
- Implement Microsoft security and endpoint management strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to support and upskill technical staff.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Nutanix cluster administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune.
- Experience in migrating infrastructure to cloud environments.
- Demonstrated skills in systems administration and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft security and endpoint management.
- Preferred experience with Parallels or Citrix, and Cisco Meraki.
- Ability to manage senior-level responsibilities and communicate effectively.
