Overview
We are seeking a Contract Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join an MEP consultancy on a rolling six-month contract. This hybrid role will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and delivering mechanical designs for varied projects, particularly in the commercial, hotel, and healthcare sectors. Candidates should possess three to five years of senior-level experience within building services, and proficiency in Revit is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Deliver mechanical designs for various projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Engage in project planning and implementation.
- Collaborate with contractors and clients throughout project lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and assessments.
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.
- Experience in the building services industry, preferably in consultancy or contracting.
- Familiarity with commercial, hotel, and healthcare projects.
- Proficiency in Revit is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
