Overview
The BIM Lead will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of BIM strategies within an architectural practice. Working closely with diverse teams across various sectors including residential, hotels, and data centres, the successful candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards and enhance project delivery through effective BIM management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM strategies and protocols, including customised families and templates.
- Manage models, ensuring quality assurance and effective clash detection.
- Ensure full adoption and compliance with ISO 19650 across all projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide BIM support and guidance.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on BIM best practices and tools.
- Monitor and report on BIM usage and effectiveness within projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a BIM environment or similar role in an architectural setting.
- Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 19650 certification and standards.
- Proficient in Revit and various clash detection platforms.
- Experience in managing BIM teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and customize BIM templates and families.
