Overview
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our USA Technology team on a long-term contract to enhance and maintain the quality of our digital products. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to ensure that quality is an integral part of the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will focus on delivering reliable and high-performing digital experiences while employing both automation and exploratory testing techniques in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Define quality strategies for new features and product initiatives.
- Create and maintain scalable automated UI, API and end-to-end test suites.
- Execute exploratory, regression, integration, and acceptance testing where appropriate.
- Work closely with engineers to improve testability and automation coverage.
- Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
- Validate customer journeys across multiple browsers, devices and platforms.
- Ensure accessibility, usability, and performance standards are maintained.
- Promote quality engineering best practices across the team.
Requirements
- Significant commercial experience as a Software QA Engineer, Quality Engineer or SDET.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining automated UI and API test suites.
- Experience with modern browser automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Insomnia or similar tools.
- Strong manual exploratory, regression and end-to-end testing experience.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Agile software delivery and modern SDLC practices.
- Experience using AI tools to improve testing productivity and software quality.
