Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Product Owner for a 3-month contract to lead the development and delivery of AI and machine learning products. The successful candidate will work closely with senior business stakeholders, data teams, and delivery partners, ensuring that products align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape strategic product initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead assigned AI, machine learning and data products through discovery, development and launch.
- Define and manage product vision, strategy, roadmaps and prioritised backlogs.
- Establish and track product success metrics to inform prioritisation and investment decisions.
- Lead product discovery to validate user needs and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define product vision and success measures.
- Collaborate with data engineers and delivery teams to shape delivery plans and manage dependencies.
- Own product scope and prioritisation, managing changes through clear impact assessment.
Requirements
- Significant experience owning and delivering data, analytics, AI or machine learning products.
- Proven track record of taking complex data capabilities to practical business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning value creation, including data quality and governance.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working closely with technical delivery teams to translate business requirements.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High level of ownership and attention to detail in product delivery.
