Overview
We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Engineer to join a leading Ecommerce client for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will work as part of an agile team to design and build the foundational systems for innovative web and mobile applications, collaborating closely with engineers, product owners, and business analysts. Your expertise in full-stack development, particularly with React, TypeScript, and Node.js, will be essential to successfully contribute to client-facing applications and API development.
Responsibilities
- Design and build web and mobile application foundations using React and Node.js.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business analysts to define technical solutions.
- Review code and provide mentorship to team members.
- Develop and maintain Node.js/GraphQL APIs for client-facing applications.
- Contribute to the planning and agile development of systems and platforms.
Requirements
- Senior level experience with modern JavaScript, including TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Proficiency in building applications with Next.js and experience with Stripe is highly desirable.
- Experience in designing and developing APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and modern infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
- Proven experience working in autonomous agile environments with an event-driven architecture.
