Overview
In this role, the contractor will work as an AWS DevOps Engineer focusing on key projects that involve the implementation of AI into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and addressing various issues within AWS infrastructure. The position requires collaboration with a dynamic team, primarily in a hybrid setting, with occasional on-site presence in Manchester. The objective is to enhance cloud services and streamline operational processes within a prominent retail client.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
- Implement AI integration into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues within AWS environments.
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code deployments.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience with AWS services and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions.
- Ability to work outside IR35 regulations.
- Familiarity with serverless technologies in the AWS ecosystem.
- Previous experience in the retail sector is advantageous.
- Understanding of AI technologies and their application in cloud environments.
