Overview
We are seeking a skilled Azure Software Engineer to join the New Vehicle Sales team on a 7-month contract basis, working closely with product owners and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality applications as part of a major modernization program. The successful candidate will develop and maintain Azure-based solutions using a modern technology stack, ensuring seamless integration of various systems while fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to gather functional requirements and drive the design of new features.
- Collaborate with team members on code reviews and testing to ensure code quality.
- Attend team meetings, update project tickets, and participate in delivery planning activities.
- Develop Azure applications and integration components using Azure Functions and other technologies.
- Utilize the Microsoft 365 stack, including SharePoint and PowerApps, for application development.
- Create and manage database solutions with SQL MI and Azure SQL.
- Implement data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Databricks/Spark.
- Conduct tests and develop monitoring frameworks to ensure production solution reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with Azure and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong knowledge of .NET, including C# and full-stack development.
- Experience with modern engineering practices, including API development and DevOps.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub for code management and releases.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly within Scrum environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Azure-related technical issues.
- Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation for built solutions.
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills in cross-functional teams.
