Overview
The Senior P6 Planner will play a pivotal role in a £50m storage plant project within the power generation sector. This position requires robust collaboration with the delivery team on-site from Tuesday to Thursday, ensuring effective planning and execution of mechanical and electrical works. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in Primavera P6 and a proactive approach to maintaining project momentum.
Responsibilities
- Develop project plans and schedules using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure alignment and progress.
- Challenge site teams on performance and timelines to drive the programme forward.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation related to planning activities.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Assist in facilitating project meetings and reporting on planning status.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Primavera P6.
- Background in power generation, nuclear, or process plants.
- Experience planning mechanical and electrical works.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in working with site teams.
- Ability to work on-site Tuesday–Thursday.
