Overview
We are seeking a Senior Primavera P6 Planner to oversee and manage the construction programme for a major development project based in London. This role will provide substantial ownership of the schedule and progress data, ensuring the project remains on track throughout its delivery cycle. The successful candidate will work within a dedicated project controls function and will engage effectively with various stakeholders to enhance planning, reporting, and project control processes.
Responsibilities
- Own, develop, and maintain the construction programme in Primavera P6.
- Integrate design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Manage baselines, schedule change control, and audit trails.
- Monitor progress against plan and identify schedule variances.
- Complete critical path, float, and schedule risk analysis.
- Support mitigation and recovery planning.
- Improve planning processes, coding structures, and progress measurement.
- Integrate cost and schedule data through Earned Value Management.
Requirements
- Strong experience in using Primavera P6.
- Significant experience in major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Background in main contractor, consultancy, or client-side environments.
- Strong knowledge of Project Controls and Earned Value Management.
- Experience in Schedule Risk Analysis.
- Confidence to challenge contractor and senior stakeholder programmes.
- Proven track record of improving planning and reporting processes.
