Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager for a contract role focused on unifying the technical landscape of a major UK energy company. The successful candidate will lead product discovery and prioritize the roadmap for platforms and applications, working closely with stakeholders to develop AI-driven solutions. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with proven experience in managing complex systems who can advocate for the adoption of AI tools to streamline processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead product discovery to identify overlaps and dependencies among existing applications.
- Define vision, roadmap, and priorities for the unified platform.
- Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to design technical solutions.
- Transform business requirements into actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Utilize AI tools for efficient discovery, analysis, documentation, and backlog management.
- Manage the product backlog, balancing short-term wins with long-term goals.
- Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, particularly in platform consolidation or system integration.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in workflows such as research and documentation.
- Strong technical knowledge, comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, and data flows.
- Track record of managing complex multi-system environments.
- Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across large organizations.
- Experience in Agile delivery teams is preferred.
- Background in energy, utilities, or infrastructure is a plus.
