Overview
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead for a contract role, focusing on a critical project within a prominent energy business. The selected contractor will drive the end-to-end delivery of a unified platform, collaborating with multiple teams while leveraging AI tools to enhance workflows. This position emphasizes strong leadership and effective stakeholder communication to ensure project success by the end of 2027.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery across teams working on the unified platform.
- Plan and track delivery, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Run and improve Agile ceremonies and methodologies.
- Remove blockers and ensure alignment among engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance planning, reporting, documentation, and risk analysis.
- Foster a high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Delivery Lead or Delivery Manager on technology programs.
- Proven, hands-on experience using AI tools in workflows for planning, reporting, or risk analysis.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Lean delivery methodologies with adaptive judgment.
- Experience managing delivery across multiple teams and complex system landscapes.
- Ability to work credibly with technical teams regarding risks and dependencies.
- Confident in stakeholder engagement at all organizational levels.
- Experience in platform consolidation or system integration is a plus.
- Familiarity with energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors is beneficial but not essential.
