Overview
The SFCC DevOps/Platform Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud platform. This role involves working closely with development and operations teams to facilitate the deployment and management of e-commerce solutions, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integrations with various services and payment gateways.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub actions.
- Manage Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud features including checkout, payment gateways, and order management.
- Configure Business Manager and manage SFRA migrations and job frameworks.
- Integrate and manage REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimize for Core Web Vitals on commerce pages.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure effective sandbox/staging orchestration.
Requirements
- Experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, including SFRA, ISML, OCAPI/SCAPI.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript (ES6+), SCSS, and jQuery; exposure to Vue/React is a plus.
- Knowledge of payment gateways (Adyen/Stripe) and tax solutions (Vertex/Avalara).
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Omni-Channel case management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes using Copado or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability in performance tuning and caching practices.
