Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer role focuses on leveraging hands-on DevOps engineering expertise to enhance enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions for secure government programs. The contractor will join a dynamic project environment, collaborating with a team to implement cutting-edge technologies, particularly in Kubernetes, Linux, and Azure/Cloud environments. This position is well-suited for a proactive individual with a strong desire for continuous learning and development in DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions for on-premises and cloud environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment.
- Manage source control systems and ensure code quality with GIT, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Gitlab.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance automation and deployment strategies.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of DevOps processes and practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the development and deployment stages.
Requirements
- Active UKIC DV Clearance is mandatory.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Linux systems.
- Proficient in Azure/Cloud technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, and Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with source control management using GIT and VSTS.
- Knowledge of SecOps or Zero and relevant DevOps certifications is highly advantageous.
- Experience in large secure government programs is preferred.
