Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Site Manager to oversee works on a water project within the Severn Trent framework near Birmingham. The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise site activities, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of MEICA and construction works, while collaborating with Project Engineers and Project Managers.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision and management of site activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel.
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with RAMS and project requirements.
- Monitor progress against the construction programme.
- Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and civil interfaces.
- Identify and escalate site issues that could affect programme or delivery.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Requirements
- Previous Site Supervisor or Site Manager experience within water, wastewater, MEICA, or a similar infrastructure environment.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary site activities.
- Strong understanding of programme, quality, and safe delivery.
- SMSTS/SSSTS and relevant CSCS qualification would be beneficial.
- Previous Severn Trent experience would be advantageous.
