Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee an accelerated major water project as part of the Severn Trent framework. The contractor will coordinate project delivery, ensuring safe and efficient execution across engineering, construction, and MEICA activities while working closely with various stakeholders and managing subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of the project through construction, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Coordinate engineering, site, commercial, and supply-chain teams.
- Monitor progress and drive delivery against key milestones.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Lead project meetings and provide clear progress reporting.
- Identify programme or delivery risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Requirements
- Proven Project Management experience within water, wastewater, or MEICA delivery.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project programmes, commercial management, and risk.
- Experience managing subcontractors and supply-chain partners.
- Good knowledge of health, safety, and quality requirements within construction.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Availability for immediate or short-notice starts is highly desirable.
