Overview
This role as a Technical Lead - Propulsion Integration offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership in multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring the effective delivery of propulsion system requirements throughout the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will leverage systems engineering principles to define and validate complex propulsion solutions while coordinating across various vehicle domains. The position emphasizes collaboration, risk management, and engineering excellence to meet performance and timing targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration and delivery of propulsion system software, controls, and calibration activities across vehicle programmes.
- Ensure alignment between hardware, software, controls, and system requirements to achieve performance targets.
- Coordinate software release planning and deployment activities against programme milestones.
- Manage collaboration between controls, calibration, systems, and validation engineering teams.
- Lead verification and validation of propulsion activities including MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle-level testing.
- Support development and validation of energy management and performance functions.
- Review and approve software change requests and corrective actions.
- Ensure software readiness for prototype, development, production gateways.
Requirements
- Strong experience within Propulsion System Engineering.
- Proven project management capability.
- Experience in relevant propulsion domains.
- Familiarity with AGILE JIRA and 3Dx software.
- Experience with SAP and proficient in Microsoft tools.
- Strong systems engineering knowledge with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in vehicle integration, validation, and software delivery.
