Technical Writer

Overview

The Technical Writer will be engaged on a 6-month contract to support the creation and standardisation of project documentation for a global organisation. Working closely with various stakeholders, the contractor will ensure the documentation meets both technical and business standards, catering to diverse audiences. This role focuses on producing clear, accurate, and effective documentation while coordinating with subject matter experts to maintain quality throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce project documentation, including procedures and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and coordinate document reviews.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain controlled documents and templates in accordance with quality standards.
  • Create testing evidence and relevant project documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical and business writing.
  • Familiarity with creating and maintaining controlled documents in a regulated environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on stakeholder management.
  • Ability to clearly convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with project documentation and quality assurance processes.
