Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Service Cloud Developer for a contract position lasting 2-3 months, with the possibility of part-time or full-time arrangements. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing, configuring, and enhancing Oracle Service Cloud solutions to support effective customer service operations. This role demands a blend of technical development and system configuration expertise, and the successful candidate will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet business requirements.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support business processes.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline customer service operations.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Support data management activities, including imports, exports, and data integrity checks to ensure data quality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities to maintain comprehensive records for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Proven experience in developing and configuring Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) platforms.
- Solid understanding of data migration, system integration, and platform customization.
- Knowledge of SQL and database design.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Oracle Service Cloud certification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to obtain DBS clearance if needed.
