Overview
We are seeking an experienced DV-cleared Software Engineer with expertise in Python development for a secure technology project in the national security sector. The contractor will work closely with a team focused on enhancing and maintaining systems within an air-gapped environment, utilizing modern development practices and container orchestration tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications using Python and related technologies.
- Manage and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build, deploy, and maintain capabilities within air-gapped environments.
- Integrate and manage APIs and microservices.
- Configure and integrate workflow tools, such as Jira.
- Work with database technologies including SQL, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.
Requirements
- Active DV clearance is required.
- Proven experience in commercial Python development.
- Strong skills in Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and management.
- Experience in building and maintaining capabilities within air-gapped environments.
- Knowledge of APIs and microservices integration.
- Familiarity with data pipeline technologies such as Prefect or Airflow.
- Experience with database and storage solutions like DSE/Cassandra and Redis.
