Overview
The Oracle Developer position is focused on supporting the development and enhancement of Oracle Service Cloud solutions for customer service operations. The contractor will be part of a dynamic team, collaborating with various stakeholders to configure and manage the Oracle Service Cloud platform and develop effective technical solutions. This is an initial 2-3 month contract role with flexibility for part or full-time work, requiring the successful candidate to obtain DBS clearance if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud applications to meet business needs.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support workflows.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance user experience.
- Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, and integrity maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data issues.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in Oracle Service Cloud development.
- Strong understanding of system configuration, development, and integration within Oracle Service Cloud.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Familiarity with database design, SQL, and data migration processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Oracle Service Cloud certification is highly desirable.
