Overview
We are seeking a Junior Test Analyst for an outside IR35 contract role in a leading financial organization. The successful candidate will support system, integration, and automation testing for various applications, and will work closely with developers and business stakeholders. This role requires immediate availability and involves a hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Create test plans and test cases for various applications.
- Execute tests and log defects in the testing process.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve software quality.
- Work with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
- Conduct integration and automation testing as needed.
- Maintain documentation of testing procedures and results.
Requirements
- Prior experience in software testing is essential.
- Strong analytical skills to assess testing outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members.
- Familiarity with Browser, Java, PowerBuilder, Appian, and OpenText applications is a plus.
- Experience in financial services is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
