Test Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a QA Analyst to join our team for a contract role focused on manual functional testing. In this position, the contractor will play a crucial role in the testing phases including system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination. They will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met and will collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to facilitate effective communication and defect resolution.

Responsibilities

• Refine acceptance criteria to ensure testability.
• Write and execute manual testing and document outcomes.
• Lead defect identification and assist with defect resolution.
• Provide test progress updates to the project manager and stakeholders.
• Coordinate UAT activities for small groups of business users.

Requirements

• ISEB / ISTQB qualification in Software or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• Experience using Azure DevOps.
• Experience as a functional test analyst.
• Thorough understanding of risk-based testing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to work within and contribute to a team environment.
