Overview
The Software Test Engineer will join a leading technology business for an initial 9-month contract, focusing on web functional testing. The contractor will engage in both manual and automated testing of web applications and wireless devices, collaborating closely with the development team to ensure quality and functionality meets standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated testing of web applications and wireless devices.
- Develop and execute test cases using Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Utilize NUnit for automated testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers to address quality assurance issues.
- Document testing processes and results clearly.
- Participate in test planning and strategy development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in C# and/or Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
- Familiarity with NUnit framework for automation.
- Experience in testing wireless devices is preferred.
- Solid understanding of functional testing principles and practices.
