Overview
The Test Automation Specialist will lead the development and maintenance of automated tests for a web application over a nine-month contract period. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of the web application, leveraging strong expertise in automated testing and web technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests for a web application.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand testing requirements.
- Implement test automation frameworks using .NET/C# and Selenium.
- Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment of test scripts.
- Execute tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Document test cases and results for future reference and reporting.
- Optimize the testing process using Docker and Selenium Grid.
- Provide recommendations for improving test strategies and practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automated testing within a physical product environment.
- Strong expertise in .NET/C# and Selenium for web testing.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, NUnit, and Fluent Assertions.
- Experience with Docker and Selenium Grid for test execution.
- Knowledge of TestLink for test management is a plus.
- Experience with AWS services such as Cognito and ECS is desirable.
- Familiarity with Playwright, Python, and pytest is a bonus.
- Ability to document and communicate test processes effectively.
