Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Engineer for an initial 6-month contract with a focus on developing a major Android product for a leading fintech scale-up. This role emphasizes hands-on technical contributions, end-to-end ownership of feature development, and collaboration with product and design teams to create high-quality mobile experiences. Ideal candidates will thrive in a product-focused environment and possess a strong foundation in Android development.
Responsibilities
- Build new features with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Create polished, data-rich user interfaces, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to production release.
- Make architectural and system design decisions.
- Integrate with backend services and APIs.
- Contribute to testing, CI/CD, and release processes.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and challenge ideas collaboratively.
- Utilize modern AI development tools to enhance engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in native Android development.
