Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join a dedicated team within a FinTech organization undergoing significant transformation. The contractor will work closely with the CloudOps and Platform teams to enhance security practices and support a series of projects focused on Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform, ensuring the platform can effectively respond to Cloud Security threats.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CloudOps/Platform team to implement security best practices.
- Drive projects focusing on Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Develop and enforce guardrails using Azure Policy and Defender.
- Build and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives with Microsoft Purview.
- Spearhead infrastructure as code (IaC) efforts utilizing Terraform and Bicep.
- Conduct threat modeling and CI/CD activities to enhance security measures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in a Security role, ideally at a senior level.
- Extensive knowledge of Azure and its services.
- Proven experience with Cloud Security tools like Entra ID and Azure AD.
- Strong background in building guardrails and handling Azure Policy and Defender.
- Experience with DLP initiatives using Microsoft Purview.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with Threat Modeling and CI/CD processes.
