Overview
The Architectural Technician will play a key role in the technical delivery of Data Centre projects both in the UK and internationally. This position is focused on utilizing advanced Revit skills and BIM expertise to create detailed architectural designs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The contractor will work fully remote, with an option for hybrid arrangements, and will be involved in complex projects requiring a high level of precision and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate architectural designs, specifications, elevations, and sections using BIM or CAD software tools, including Revit and AutoCAD.
- Liaise with professional project teams to identify and resolve design and buildability issues.
- Establish detailed drawings and models, focusing on building system integration and material specification.
- Assemble and analyse project documentation and schedules to ensure smooth project delivery, maintaining accuracy throughout.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Revit and substantial BIM experience, including running clash detections.
- Experience in coordinating Stage 4 technical packages on complex projects, particularly in industrial and Data Centre environments.
- Significant experience as an Architectural Technician or in a similar role, designing detailed models and drawings.
- Relevant qualification in architectural technology, building engineering, or a related discipline.
