Overview
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to contribute to the delivery of advanced AI solutions within a global commodities trading firm. This hands-on role combines elements of AI, software engineering, and business transformation, collaborating closely with stakeholders to create impactful AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy AI-powered applications and workflows.
- Build production-grade applications and integrations using modern engineering frameworks.
- Develop RAG pipelines, vector database integrations, and automation workflows.
- Leverage Python, React, Node.js, and cloud technologies to deliver scalable solutions.
- Partner with business teams to identify AI-driven process improvement opportunities.
- Manage solutions end-to-end, encompassing architecture, development, deployment, and optimization.
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience in financial services or commodities sectors.
- Proficient in Python and full-stack development (React, Node.js, PostgreSQL).
- Experience in building APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, AI agents, or AI automation.
- Strong grasp of software delivery and enterprise engineering practices.
