Overview
We are seeking experienced Auto Electricians with specialised skills in Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) to join a long-term contracting position within the automotive industry. The successful contractors will work 12-hour shifts on a minimum 6-day rotation, contributing to a team that provides managed services to leading OEMs. This role offers a lucrative earning potential and requires individuals who possess the necessary technical skills and certifications for BEV diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).
- Perform maintenance and installation tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot issues to a detailed level.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service and solutions.
- Complete documentation of work performed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all tasks.
- Assist in training and upskilling less experienced electricians as needed.
Requirements
- IMI EV Level 3 / Level 4 certification is required.
- Proven site experience with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) is essential.
- Strong fault diagnosis skills down to level zero are necessary.
- Ability to work full-time hours with a commitment to a 12-hour shift rotation.
- Experience in performing high-quality repairs and maintenance under pressure is preferred.
- Must possess a valid UK driving license.
