Overview
The Procurement Engineer will collaborate with Commercial Managers to enhance third-party project delivery through effective coordination of commercial, contracting, procurement, and governance activities. This hands-on position focuses on stakeholder management, contract development, and the preparation of management materials, aiming to support strategic third-party opportunities within the Oil, Gas, Petroleum, and Infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of commercial strategies for third-party projects aligned with business goals.
- Help structure commercial models, service arrangements, and long-term agreements.
- Assist with contract drafting, negotiation planning, and issue tracking.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and supporting materials for management review.
- Coordinate closely with other functions on deliverables and reviews.
- Support RFIs, RFPs, bid clarifications, and commercial evaluations.
- Maintain organized records of bids, agreements, approvals, and negotiation statuses.
- Assist in comparing proposals and commercial assumptions.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of relevant experience in commercial, contracts, procurement, or project support.
- Experience with large-scale energy or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Exposure to BOO, BOOT, or infrastructure/industrial projects preferred.
- Proficient in SAP, Primavera, Risk Assessment tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word.
- Certification such as Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply is advantageous.
- Strong planning and organizing skills with a commitment to safety and effective communication.
