Overview
We are seeking a Technology Product Manager with active SC clearance to support a strategic programme focusing on the development of a cloud-based occupancy data platform within AWS. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that product priorities align with organizational objectives while managing the product backlog and facilitating communication across teams. This initial contract position lasts until May 2027, with opportunities for extension and requires one day per week at the office in Central London.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business objectives and delivery capacity.
- Define, maintain, and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategic priorities.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Make informed prioritisation decisions based on value, risk, dependencies, and technical considerations.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and decision-making forums to generate consensus across stakeholders.
- Communicate roadmap progress, delivery status, risks, and dependencies clearly and effectively.
- Drive engagement and collaboration across business and technical teams while managing stakeholder expectations.
Requirements
- Active SC clearance is required for this position.
- Demonstrable experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Technical Product Owner in complex cloud, digital, or data-focused programmes.
- Proven experience prioritising product backlogs within Agile delivery environments.
- Strong experience defining epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and software engineers.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native platforms and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience delivering data-centric platforms, integrations, or analytics solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
