Overview
The Technical Business Analyst will play a critical role in aligning business objectives with technical solutions by analyzing systems and defining requirements. This position entails meticulous collaboration with stakeholders to ensure clarity in functional specifications and will involve extensive engagement with engineering teams for solution design and system integration. The role aims to enhance operational efficiency through process improvements and delivery of high-quality, scalable technological solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
- Produce high-quality documentation including functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to define solution designs and feasibility.
- Support system integration efforts, including APIs and data flows.
- Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
- Validate solutions to ensure they are fit for purpose and technically sound.
- Drive delivery within tight timelines, ensuring effective cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst, particularly in technical environments.
- Strong background in writing detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Proven experience with system implementations, integrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of SQL, APIs, and data modeling.
- Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams including User-Centered Design.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance, with a minimum of 5 years residency in the UK.
